Mattie's Field Trip to the Science Center

I volunteered to chaperone Mattie's last field trip of the year - The Science Center. We all had a lot of fun! There were a lot of schools there that day. Her class was invited to see a show about electricity which all the kids loved. We also had lunch there! After that we made it upstairs just in time for the kids to be on the Channel 13 Noon News.

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter Sunday this year! The kids woke up to some presents from the Easter Bunny....Ryan got a new big boy bike and Mattie got a swimsuit cover-up and some other misc. things. They also got a little bit of candy ;) Ryan immediatley wanted to take the bike outside!

In the afternoon we went to Matt's parent's house for lunch. The food was great and we all had a lot of fun! They had an Easter Egg Hunt for the kiddos. They each found around 30-40 eggs! Then they were spoiled with Easter baskets from Papa and Grandma Constable, Grandma Estella, Uncle Justin and Lauren and Uncle Jeff and Aunt Tammy :) I told them that someone else needs to start having kids because they get WAY too much ;)

Spring Break - Omaha Zoo Trip

We took the kiddos to the Omaha Zoo this past weekend for Mattie's Spring Break. We drove to Council Bluffs and got them a hotel room so they could swim and enjoy the hot tub. Mattie brought her friend Madisyn along too. It was a lot of fun...the kids love staying at hotels! We took off for the Zoo after the kids swam again in the morning. The weather turned out to be absolutely perfect for the Zoo!! Almost all of the exhibits were open. I think the kids had the most fun in the Jungle and then at the Desert Dome. We saw everything from alligators to monkeys. Mattie's favorite animal was the White Tiger and Ryan's was the Lion.

Mattie's Classroom Valentine Party

I attended Mattie's Valentine Party at school a couple weeks ago to help with the activities. They made really neat banners that they were able to take home and put up in their room if they wanted. They had already decorated their Valentine bags but finally got to dig into them to see what was inside :)

Cousins!

We had my sister, Luke and Kobe over for dinner last Sunday and of course the kids were so excited to get to play together. Kobe is just amazed at Mattie and loves when she takes of him. Him and Ryan got into a small wrestling match and it was pretty close :)

Father/Daughter Valentine Dance

Matt took Madalynn to the Father/Daughter Valentine Dance in Ankeny last night! She was so excited to have her daddy take her to a dance :) They said they had a BLAST!! All the girls received a rose and then they got their pictures taken too.

They both looked amazing!! Mattie said they boogied on the dance floor and saw quite a few of her friends too.
