Christmas Stop at Grandpa & Grandma Bryant's House

After my Grandma Char's house we stopped at my Grandpa & Grandma Bryant's house so they could see the kiddos and so we could drop off some goodies I had made for them. My grandma loves my roll-ups so I knew I had to take some to her along with some cookies!!

My grandma got Mattie a pretty pink purse and Ryan a remote control car. I found myself playing with the car the next day after the kids opened all of their gifts from Santa :) I guess we're never too old to play with toys!

The kiddos were a little tired at this point!

Christmas at Grandma Char's House

Christmas at Grandma Char's house was a lot of fun as usual! There was a lot of good food!! Most of the family made it there around the same time so it was great seeing some of my cousins and aunts/uncles I hadn't seen in awhile. The kids got some cute pajamas from Grandma. She also got Mattie a bead set which she loved and Ryan a new Nerf gun which he has been using on Mattie and her friends. :) Matt and I got new pillows which we can definitely use!!

Christmas Eve Brunch with the Family

We had my mom and Luke, Brooke and Kobe over for our annual Christmas Eve Brunch tradition. It is so much fun to have them over early in the morning for breakfast and presents :) The kids were excited to see Kobe, of course! He didn't care about what was inside the box as much as the wrapping paper.

We were excited to give my mom her new camera she had been wanting. Her pictures were always so blurry so we got her a sport camera which takes great pictures. We all got spoiled as usual :)

Mattie's Winter Classroom Party

Mattie's classroom party was a lot of fun :) The kids just love having us parents join the party and help out with activities. The kids went to the new gym for some 'Minute To Win It' games which were hilarious.

Skinner Christmas

The annual Skinner Christmas was held this past weekend at Capital Hill Christian Church. The majority of the family was able to make it and it was great seeing everyone!

The kids had so much fun playing together! Mattie got the junior edition of Apples to Apples card game and Ryan got a new CandyLand board game so some of the kids joined in and they played very well togother. After we ate lunch the kids were even able to go play outside on the swingset - how often can you say that in mid December in Iowa?!! 

Annual Christmas Get Together with Friends and Family!

We held our annual friends/family Christmas get together at Eric and Mindy's house this year. Mindy made enchiladas, rice and cheese dip and it was soooo good!!! I brought a Brownie Trifle with was pretty tasty too.

The kids had a lot of fun playing and exchanging gifts :) Mattie got a pretty peace sign necklace from Lo Lo and Ryan got a neat truck set from Holden. It seemed like every 5 minutes one of the kiddos would come up and tattle about something :)!!! They are so funny!!

Mattie's Birthday Get Together with Friends

Mattie couldn't make up her mind about what she wanted to do for her birthday with friends so she decided to just invite a couple friends to go to get their nails done, do a little shopping at the mall and then go to dinner. They also spent the night!

I took the girls to Los Cabos in West Glen to eat dinner and we met my sister and Lauren there too! We happened to run in to my friend Leah as well AND my cousin Elisa. I ordered the girls an alcohol-free Daiquiri which they thought was pretty cool ;) The waiters sang to Mattie and some of them started banging on the top of sombrero. It was hilarious!!!!
